 I can provide significant historical data on this particular aircraft. This aircraft is on loan from the United States Air Force Museum to Detachment 305 Air Force ROTC at Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, LA (city spelled wrong on the site). For example, below are some unit assignment dates in case someone would like to visit one of the aircraft they once flew:
Oct 1953 To 3560th Pilot Training Wing (Air Training Command), Webb AFB TX
Jul 1962 To 2580th Air Base Wing (Air Force Logistics Command), Brookley AFB AL
Jan 1963 Dropped from the USAF inventory after classification as excess
