Converted as QF-100D. Damaged when hit by AIM-120 fired by F-15 at Holloman Feb 22, 1988. Drone was recovered at Northrop Strip but was not repaired. In mid-1996 was at Evergreen Heritage Collection, Marana, AZ along with 56-2992. The stated intention at that time was to use both airframes (they were both damaged) to construct one intact airframe for static display. Noted at Planes of Fame, Chino, CA Jan 2002. |
