I was the last owner of this aircraft. It was destroyed by fire on the ground at YVR. The reason for the fire was an AD that called for replacement of the battery cable was not done, and as the aircraft was being started, the cable overheated and burned. The rear seats caught fire and the rest is history. Too bad... it was a great little plane. PS: I do not know how the AD was missed, but I am not an AME, so I was off the hook.
