I flew this aircraft in 1969 and 1970 at the Aeroclub of BC in Pitt Meadows and took my flight test in it on September 4, 1970 at Langley. My instructor at Pitt was Werner Griesbeck and the inspector that put me through the test was Jack Lingham. This aircraft was an exceptionally pretty example of a Canuck, then finished in white ceconite with a blue star-burst pattern. I will find and scan a photo of it soon to post on this site. She flew like a dream. The last time I flew her was in 1972. |
