I very much liked flying this aircraft and put a few hours on it when it was new, owned by the Kingston Flying Club in Kingston Ontario. My log books shows flights in 1965 and 1966 including one under the hood doing a GCA approach guided by an RCAF controller at Trenton Aiport. It was used also as an "air taxi" and I had several flights as a passenger to/from Watertown and Syracuse N.Y. connecting to airlines. One time I chartered it, taking a flgiht to Wilmington Delaware for a meeting requiring a quick trip. I liked it in every way although I later learned some would have preferred better climb performance. There may be a color slide or two of it in my collection but it would be quite a chore to find them. David Panton |
