It first flew on 31 January 1975 from Toulouse and flew for 11,989 hours. On 25 July 2000, Air France Flight 4590, registration F-BTSC, crashed in Gonesse, France, killing all 100 passengers and nine crew members on board the flight, and four people on the ground. It was the only fatal incident involving Concorde. See - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Air_France_Flight_4590. |
