On July 30, 1998 this Proteus Airlines Beech 1900D, with two crew and twelve passengers on a scheduled flight from Lyon to Lorient, collided in mid-air with Cessna 177 Cardinal F-GAJE over the Baie de Quiberon near its destination. Both aircraft crashed into the sea with loss of all life.
