| This Proctor was stored at the Trostre Steel Works at Llanelli by the SWAM. However vandals destroyed part of the storage shed roof and water severely damaged the starboard centre section and cockpit area. Also one of the wings was stored directly under the open roof for several years.
The Proctor was swapped for a Provost T1 WW388 (which went to Cardiff Museum). The Proctor was rescued by this chap who had it surveyed by PPS at Booker. Then followed a full strip down and check. The task was found to be too much and it was later sold it to Mr Tregilgas where it is now being restored (as far as I know) to fly again. |
