Development aircraft, G-AKLN first flown April 5, 1950. Issued to the Marine Aircraft Experimental Establishment at Felixstowe, Suffolk, for evaluation as an air sea rescue type. Converted to Series IM (Series III equivalent) and first flown as such on May 25, 1952, as LN-SUF Sold to Westlandske Luftfartselekap of Bergen, Norway June 1952. To Solbergfly, also of Bergen, in August 1958. Scrapped in 1962 |
