Crashed after a mid-air collision with an Italian AF F-86E at 23,500 ft above Nettuno, nr Anzio, Italy during a flight from Heathrow, London to Malta via Naples on October 22nd 1958.. All 26 passengers & 5 crew died in the accident. The F-86 pilot survived by ejecting from his aircraft.
