I learnt to fly in this aircraft at Bournemouth Flying Club, Hurn Airport during September/October 1972. I remember my instructors were Simon O'Brien and Peter Boden.

I have very fond memories of flying this plane. I was taught by Keith Kenyon, Dave Harris, Took my instructors course at Hurn in 1971 with Vernon Bernard. The club was also known as Noddy's flying circus. (bournemouth flying club)

I too have fond memories of G-ARAB. I did most of my training in it May-June 1965 (the rest in G-ASYL) under a Flying Scholarship. Noddy did most of my training, with some from P. Ford and T. Harrison. I will never forget the cigar smoke...

I did my PPL on this aircraft at Bournemouth and Sandown in April 1963. Sent solo at Sandown by Vernon Bernard after 8 hours dual at the tender age of 17.

Happy days.

Flew a C152 this week at Portimao in Portugal. Flew a C150 at Cranfield in April for my SEP.

19000 hours and growing!
