The turbine conversion on G-ASXG was done by Marshalls of CAmbridge in the UK using McKinnon kits and STCs; as such, it was not eligible for re-certification under McKinnon's type certificate and was never officially issued a McKinnon serial number. It officially remained a "Grumman G-21A" certified under Grumman's type certificate (ATC-654.)
