I helped to construct this hot air balloon in 1966 at Hawker Siddeley Aviation at the Chadderton factory in Manchester. It was test flown and publicly demonstrated at the Manchester branch of the Royal Aeronautical Society garden party on Saturday 9th July 1966.

It appeared in an episode of Blue Peter on July 12th 1966, with myself as the pilot.

Balloon featured at RAF Finningly Battle of Britain air diaplay and at the London Gliding Club during 1966. It never flew again and was subsequently scrapped in 1967.

GA of skin design dwg no. 5/B/1000 dated 9/12/65.
