I learned to fly and soloed in this airplane during the summer of 1966. It was owned by the North American Aviation (Rockwell) Flying Club. It was based at Torrance airport and was 5$ per hour wet based on hobbs meter time.

MY DAD USE TO OWN THIS AIRPLANE AROUND 1960. I GOT MY FIRST RIDE WHEN I WAS 4. I SPENT MANY WEEKENDS AT THE AIRPORT WHILE HE WORKED AND REBUILT AND REPAINTED THIS PLANE. I WOULD SURE LIKE TO SEE A PICTURE OF THIS PLANE NOW. THANKS TO MY DAD I AM NOW A CAPTAIN WITH THE MAJOR AIRLINES. THANKS DAD
