I had 3:50 time in this aircraft as my first instruction. The first hour was on 1-19-57 with instructor French. The other two flights were with instructors Payne and Standifor. This was when I was a freshman student at Texas Tech. I had no money to continue, but did get my ratings later on in the 60's. I have owned my 172-M Cessna for 22 years. P. E. Pearce
