I noticed this page as I googled the tail registration. I was compelled to comment that this aircraft and its pilot were lost in a crash on July 23, 2007. See NTSB crash report "LAX07TA227". The aircraft was serving fire suppression and equipment delivery roles around Happy Camp. The pilot Dennis Davis clipped a tree yet managed to avoid personnel below him before impacting the ground.
