I owned 2509N from 1977 to 1985. purchased totally disassembled. Flew to Boca Raton Fl in 1978 and sold 1985. An early log book showed this aircraft was involved in a MID-AIR collision with a U.S.Army B-25 bomber over long Island...original fabric wings were shredded on top..explaining the metalized wings.
