This aircraft was used in the IMAX-Nature Series documentary named Amazon. The aircraft was flown by the owner, Tom Danaher, and had an underwing number of 390 and an Amazonas logo painted on the nose section for the movie. The actual registration number can be seen in very small numbers on the tail section N291NW. The co-pilot was Scott Herring.
