According to my notes, this Aerostar (N34961) used to N29DP and back in 1996 it belonged to McSmith Aviation in Florence, SC - and I worked on it doing some maintenance on the right engine in particular. However, as I recall, the owner had not taken very good care of it and cosmetically and otherwise it was a mess. Brakes were worn out way beyond limits, paint was awful, and with the right engine off, the right wing sat high and the low left wing leaked fuel badly. I sure hope it has a better "home" now!
