I owned this aircraft from 1966 to 1971. Nice ship but the fabric failed twice in that period of time and that was too expensive for me then so I sold it to an A&E mechanic who probably put new fabric on and resold the craft. Your data shows the year of manufacture as 1953 but my old log book showed it to be 1952. My old records, by memory, said the ship had been owned in the east coast and now it has returned there. Good deal. Very forgiving ship and lots of fun to fly in our Mountain country. |
