This very aircraft was use in an episode of "Shazam", the live-action Saturday morning kid's show from 1975. In the story of the episode entitled "The Odd Couple", Captain Marvel helps the plane land safely when it ruins out of fuel. The aircraft is used in all scenes including longshots in flight where a dummy of Captain Marvel was attached to the plane's fuselage and the registration markings are clearly visible.
