My partner and I owned this aircraft back in the early-mid 70's. When gas went up from $.50/gal, however we decided 25 gal/hr + maintenance was just too much, even though we had OH both engines, painted, upgrade avionics gear, etc. I loved to fly that as an instrument platform out of home base San Diego. I see by the pic it was again getting a major OH on the engine nacelle/landing gear being absent back in the 90's. I wonder if it is still operative, or in the graveyard? |
