I was flying this aircraft on November 16, 2003 when the engine failed on takeoff from Eugine Island 23 in the Gulf of Mexico.
I later wrote an article, published in the December 2006 issue of La Louisiane magazine, that described the entire incident. For more technical information, see the NTSB report filed under the A/C tail number.
