I bought this aircraft at Walls, Mississippi in 1968. At the time of purchase i had a grand total of 4 hours instruction. I soloed after 3 hours in the 170. I kept, and flew, this aircraft for a year, putting 385 hours on it.
I found that having had this aircraft at the beginning of my flight-life gave me the confidence to fly anything that had an engine and two wings.
