I purchased this plane many years ago from it's previous owner in disrepair. After many years in storage I am starting to restore her and hopefully will have it complete in a year or so.

I learned to fly in N-4169H in the early 1960s out of Orlando, Florida. A wonderful airplane with lots of fond memories flying all over Florida. Best of luck with the rebuild. I still live in Florida but currently flying/instructing in Korea. No tailwheels here-:)

After submitting the appropriate paperwork to the FAA, I was informed that I would have to obtain a new bill of sale from the guy I purchased the aircraft from many years ago and he would have to also get a bill of sale from the person he bought it from. How is that possible when these guys are deader than dead? Looks like another nice classic won't be restored. instead it will get parted out. Thanks FAA.

My family owned this place for a year or so. It was located in Butler, GA in about 1964. My dad traded it in for a Cessna 170B. We got the 170B from a dealer in Central FL. I don't remember the name of the place we traded it, but the person that ran the place was Don Baldwin.
