My first solo was in this aircraft in 1965. I went on to complete my private license and then joined the USAF. I completed USAF pilot training in class 68-E in Laredo, Texas, and subsequently flew the C-141, C-7A,VC-135B (89MAW), and T-39. After retiring from the Air Force I flew for Pan Am Express which became TransWorld Express upon Pan Am's demise, for 8 years. Here I flew the ATR-42, the DeHavilland DASH-7 and the BAE Jetstream.
