This airplane was owned by El Paso Natural Gas Co. in the late 1950s and early 60s. It was a real hot-rod. My father flew this airplane (and others) for EPNG extensively across the US but mostly across the western half of the country over the Rocky Mountains. He felt much more comfortable in this airplane (having the 400 Horspower engines) than the Apache he flew when he started for EPNG. My father was able to take me with him on trips and I have very fond memories of this very durable Bonanza. |
