| The Delta Connection Flight 5191 A CL600-2B19 Bearing Tail Number N431CA Crashed This morning 8/27/2006 in Lexington Kentucky. The plane crashed only 1/4 mile off the end of the runway after departing from the wrong runway at Bluegrass Airport. The airport says the aircraft was cleared to take off on runway 22 a 7000ft runway but departed on runway 26 instead. Runway 26 is only 3500 ft. and is not used for commercial flight. Of the 50 aboard flight 5191 49 perrished with the only survivor being the co-pilot. | |
