| I am the youngest son of the man that built this aircraft. Unfortunately, neither my father nor this aircraft exist anymore. When my father passed, the aircraft was sold (in 1977, I believe.) It was found to have numerous problems with dry rot (being a wood homebuilt that had been stored outside.) It was dismantled and the instuments, engine, and various metal hardware salvaged.

| This aircraft was a highly modified Pete Bower's Fly Baby. Here are some of the modifications that my father incorporated. He "skinned" the craft with aluminum rather than fabric. This increased gross weight to 820 lbs or so but gave a cleaner airfoil. Eliminated the turtledeck and added a canopy, copied (roughly) from the Turner T-40 homebuilt. Cut down the wingspan slightly by eliminating the curved wingtips and adding stall plates. Those were the major external modifications. |
