I am the original owner of this A/C. I ferried it from Ohio in Oct of 72. I was using it as a lease back at the flight school where I was A CFI.A student(not mine) was in a mid air collision with a 172 on final to RWY 3 at Tew Mac. Both pilots survived. NTSB investigator told the pilot of 55L he was the first mid air survivor he ever talked to.One tough airplane to survive The 172 went to the bone yard. |
