| | Firefly N833WD was originally registered WD833 and as a teenager I was allowed to play in it. It was located in a paddock beside a premises of R.H.Grant Trading company in the Melbourne suburb of Nottinghill. The owner sold the land to a Garden business(1967/68) and he offered the plane as an attraction but the new owners declined. I was about 14 at the time and talked to the owner of the plane on occasions while I was playing in it.It then moved around Victoria a few times(Australia) before being sold to the Strathallan Aircraft collection, Scotland,then Nick Grace. After that it moved onto the USA.
