| I learned to fly in this plane starting in May, 1978 in Pittsburg, KS. The airplane had been wrecked by a student in Butler, MO in 1977. My father in law, a Charles Taylor award winning mechanic, bought the aircraft and rebuilt it in late 1977 or early 1978. It used to be red white and blue and had the words "Spirit of '76" scripted on the tail. It was Cessna's way of commemorating the Nation's bi-centennial. I have photos of it somewhere. Some of my best memories ever are in that plane. Glad to see it's still flying. |

| We used to own this aircraft from 1984 thru 1988 and sold to someone in Oklahoma. We were a flying club by name of Cloudbusters. Had a great team going. Miss the aircraft, loved it when it was red white and blue and it did have Spririt of Seventy Six. I looked prettier. |
