My late father, Dr. Udo Frank Basse of Fredericksburg Tx. was the original purchaser of this plane. He took delivery of it at the Piper aircraft plant at Lockhaven Pa. from William T. Piper. My family has photos of my father posing with Mr. Piper and the plane. There are also several photos taken from the plane during the flight to Fredericksburg.
