This plane was purchased by my father sometime before 1962 (the year I was born). My mother tells me that she and my father would fly in the plane and that I would be kept in the baggage area behind the seat. It sounded like I could have fallen out but evidently I did not. I of course do not remember any of this as I was just a baby. My father sold the plane to his brother who somehow crashed it into a rice patty in Arkansas. He survived but I don't know what happened to the plane. My father passed away a few years ago but his brother (my uncle) is still going strong. I don't think my uncle ever had any formal training on how to fly a plane and possibly this was the reason for the crash I'm not sure. I'll try to remember to ask him the next time I talk to him. Fortunately I retrieved my father's flight book out of the trash when he tried to throw it away sometime in the 1980's. It had flight times and the plane number of course. I am very sentimental and I'm still curious about what happened to the plane after the mishap. Well that's about all I have on this plane.
