| If I'm not mistaken, the first owners of this plane were Polak Metals, Middelburg, Holland, during the 70's. My father flew her as a business plane, based at Midden Zeeland Airport. She was very responsive on the controls, and my father used to fly display in his spare time. One vivid memory I have is as a boy sitting next to him in the front winding up the gear like mad so we would pass the crowd immediately after take off, wheels tucked in, at eye level. I also remember being with him when he was trying out low level "crazy flying" when he clipped some grass and we heard on the radio "I don't care what you do with your plane, but please don't ruin my grass"... |
