This aircraft which belonged to the Brisbane Flying Group was subject to an landing accident in 2001 on Fraser Island Queensland Australia. The aircraft was refurbished by Peter Rosendale of Nambour Queensland and was repaired with new wings and the engine was bulk stripped and inspected and then returned to service. It was then operated at Marouchydore and Gympie for private hire for the next 7 years. It was then was purchased in May 2008 by Greg Ackman with 700 hrs since the rebuild. Greg has further refurbished the aircraft with updated avionics, new engine accessories and paint work.
