You may have already been advised that VH-PAF is now airworthy and is scheduled to depart from Archerfield Airport on its first flight for many years on Mon 21st December. This aircraft is now owned by the Historical Aircraft Restoration Society and it will be ferried approx 800 kms to it's new home at Albion Park Airport where HARS are situated. Albion Park is situated about 60 kms (by air) south of Sydney. I understand that HARS intend to paint the aircraft in a WW2 US colour scheme. I suggest that you check out the HARS Website that includes video clips of its taxi trials.

This aircraft's registration has been changed from VH-PAF to VH-EAY since it's ownership was passed to the Historical Aircraft Restoration Society (HARS).

Now that's been flown to it's new home at Albion Park NSW further restoration work is currently being done at the HARS facilities before it appears on the Australian airshow scene as a flying example of the C-54/DC-4.
