This Shackleton AEW.2 of 8 Squadron based at RAF Lossiemouth was on a training exercise off the west coast of Scotland on April 30, 1990 when it crashed into high ground on the Isle of Harris in the Outer Hebrides. Sadly, all ten crew members were killed. |
