XV714 is currently on Ops with 854 NAS. I have a partiular affinity with this airframe as it was the first Sea King I flew in Nov 1984 (when it was a Mk2 AEW). As a fully mobilised reservist I am still flying that same airframe (now as a Mk7 SKASaC) and I hope to fly it during my final year in aviation in 2016: that will be 30 years on the same basic airframe: they don't build 'em like they used to!
