N3257M, 1947 Piper PA-12 Super Cruiser C/N 12-2163, 57M near Novato,Calif in 1959.Wayne owned 57M for 40 plus years.His last landing was on its back at 43CN. Age,infrequent flying,very difficult strip and tailwheel plane caught up with this excellent pilot.Was a Berlin Airlift pilot.
