One of my favorite airliners: Lockheed L188 ElectraThe number of operational Lockheed Electras is going down from year to year. There are only two "big" operators of this great looking aircraft left in the world: Atlantic Airlines (UK) and Air Spray (C). Its getting harder and harder to see Lockheed Electras in action. I want to share some of my recently taken Lockheed Electra pictures with you. G-LOFD (cn 1143) at Vienna 2007-10-17
G-LOFE (cn 1144) at Vienna 2007-05-16
G-FIJR (cn 1138) at Vienna 2007-09-11
G-LOFC (cn 1100) at Vienna 2006-12-05
C-GZVM (cn 1036) at Red Deer 2007-05-17
C-GZVF (cn 1091) at Red Deer 2007-05-17
C-GHZI (cn 2007) at Red Deer 2007-05-17
At Red Deer you can find some more Electras, like this former Amerer Air (OE) OE-ILB (cn 1039) which is beeing prepared for Air North.
Three stored Air Spray aircraft
C-GFJO (cn 1103) ex NASA beeing prepared for Air Spray
C-FZCS (cn 1060) Air Spray under maintenance
I hope you enjoyed the pics.
