The Boeing Dreamliner N787BA visiting Australia for the 91st anniversary of Qantas arrived in Melbourne this morning.
It taxied directly to a hangar in the maintenance area where it is on display to airline personnel. Unfortunately it is not accessible or visible to the public or spotters. It departs on Saturday.
Search N787BA to see my photo of the aircraft on final approach. The runway and actual touchdown is not visible from the spotting area for the runway in use as it is in a valley at the runway threshhold. Note it is sporting a Jetstar decal.
