| C-GBHZ This is the Air Canada Airbus A319 that had to land in Calgary due to in-flight control problems. It was difficult to get the registration #. Only last 2 letters appeared on a video-clip. Another still photo had the reg#'s removed,but thanks to airport-data.com I was able to locate the precise aircraft. I thought I had heard of other Airbus planes having a rate-of-descent console that was possible to mis-place the decimal point,one story I viewed on TV was about one such input error,it was supposed to be 33ft/sec,but it came out at 3300ft/sec,a near tragedy while on a test flight. Anyways hopefully the registration number is useful for following the aircraft's future |
