There have been some older airshow acts using a clipped-wing Taylorcraft BC-12. In my A-D experimental aircraft photos I have one example with four photos of N6588C, a Taylorcraft Swick-T, taken last August.

The Swick CLIP-T mods include clipped wings, extra tail braces, push-pull rods vice cable controls and a larger 180 horsepower engine, among others.

Now, there is a new website soon (Feb.1, 2008) to offer mod kits for the BC-12 Taylorcraft. See www.SwickT.com and when the music plays, select song 2 for a jazzy oldie-as I recall from the 1940s-"Straighten Up And Fly Right".
