Greetings to you all
Have just joined this forum and although this is not my first foray on to this forum my first did not raise any response
But I thought I would pass a photo of a US registered Mooney that would appear to be resident in Australia
The photo was taken at Adelaides secondary Airport "Parafield" this was Adelaides main Airport up to 1955 when the airport was moved to its present site at West Beach
At the time of writing it is 1315 Central summer time or 0245 GMT/zulu on the 12/01/2012

Welcome back, Geoff. Good to have another member of the Chatfield family on board.

We would much appreciate your raising a profile for the Mooney and uploading the photo you have.

I've spent in total about a year from the last 10 years in and around Adelaide on visits to my daughter,who now lives up in the hills, on several occasions "wintering over" and avoiding the chilly English winter.

Definitely not a plug, but I have in the database a fortuitous capture of the relatively new International Terminal at West Beach when taking off headed for Tasmania.

I have yet to visit the airport at Parafield but have paid a couple of visits to the Classic Jets Fighter Museum, (great little museum!) and snapped a few light aircraft on the airfield's apron through the open rear doors of the museum hangar.

Wonderful country of yours but my daughter was enduring 43 centigrade last week. Great if you have aircon, not so great under those hot tin roofs still about!
