Dear all,
I am looking for an airport database where I can find the number of runways and runway length for each airport.
Unfortunately I need it in some friendly format DOC or better excel.
Can anybody advise me on that?

For what country? I don't think you will find any single database for all the World's airports.

This may assist, but first a warning. The details are updated by visitors to the site so may not be accurate or up to date.

provides information for airports around the world, from LHR to cropdusting strips in Australia. It has a Comma Separated Values download facility, but, as previously stated, read the disclaimers before relying on any data.

At least, it's worth checking out.

Another excellent site, for airfield RWY data.
Individual lookups only.
Do not know of a single DBF or XLS that lists runway data.
