Hi Team

When I try to view a slideshow (any slideshow), all I see is the first image. The thumbnails of the images in the slideshow are not displayed, and I can't get the show to progress beyond the first image/slide.

Regards,

Peter

Further to the above, the random slideshow on the home page shows a number of slides, but if you select "All Slideshows", then select a slideshow, any slideshow, you only get slide1.

Regards,

Peter.

Hello Peter.

I have tried several slide shows at random and all worked normally on my computer.

So it looks as though you may have a problem with your machine!

Malcolm.

I've tried this on another computer with the same result as my home PC - slide #1 only displays.

So I decided to create a new trial slideshow, to see if that had any effect. I created an empty slideshow, then displayed a number of aircraft, clicking on the Add to Slideshow link, selecting the trial slideshow and clicking Add.

Then, when I went to edit the slideshow in the Members section, it said no images had been added.

Regards,

Peter.

It should be something with the browser, more specifically Javascript.

I did a quick test and the slideshow works fine on my computer (XP, Firefox 13).

By the way I haven't touch the code for quite a while.

Whilst it remains true that established slide shows function normally on my PC, I ventured to create a first slide show of my own.
However the system stubbornly refuses to permit me to upload even one image to this slideshow.
I'm running Windows 7 and have updated my Javascript.

My setup is Windows Vista and Internet Explorer 9. (Computer reformatted by dealer and software reloaded within the last month).

The other PC was on a network, running Windows 7 and IE9.

(PS: Tried it on Chrome on my home PC and it shows existing slideshows OK. However, I still cannot add photos to a slideshow, new or old. )

I have got the same problem, I have created two new slideshows, but can't add any photos. The 'add this photo into slideshow' window appears. But when I click Save, nothing happens. I then click close (no other choice) and the window closes, but noting added to my slideshow.

I tried viewing other slideshows and they work fine. I am operating under Win7 32bit, Firefox 15.0 and have no other problem with the site. In fact I must make a point of praising the site and all the effort put in to keep it going.

As this thread has risen to the surface again, I tried viewing the slideshows again, and they work OK since I updated my Javascript. However, while I can create an empty slideshow, I cannot add any photos to it, or to an existing slideshow.

I can bring up a photo, click on Add To Slideshow, select the required slideshow, add a comment, but when I click on the Add Photo button, nothing happens.

It is at this last step that it falls over.

Regards,

Peter.

Thanks Ken.

I'll have my first attempt at a slide show shortly.
