I was wondering that augmented means so if anyone happens to know, I'd be grateful:)

Augmented is most commonly called afterburner.

There are other types of augmentation such as water injection into a turbojet or anti-detonation fluid in piston engines.

Each raises the available horsepower or thrust....usually for a short time.
