Kermit Weeks is attempting to build a reproduction of the Benoist air-boat that made the first commercial flight on January 1, 1914 from St. Petersburg to Tampa, FL. He plans to fly the plane on the 100th anniversary, January 1, 2014. From the looks of this video, they have a long way to go. Definitely questioning whether they'll get it built in time.
