On Sunday 20 January 2008 about 1534 PST these aircraft: N737EJ, a Cessna 172 and N4008V, a Cessna 150 were involved in a mid-air collision over Corona, California near Corona Municipal Airport AJO. Both aircraft were destroyed, falling in pieces to the ground. Five fatal, including one on ground. A ground observer indicated no evasive action was taken prior to the mid-air impact.

For N737EJ see NTSB report LAX08FA049A.

For N4008V see NTSB report LAX08FA049B. See Steve Nation's prior photo of N4008V on this site.

*Correction* On the date of this incident..you meant the 14th (not 20th) of Feb, 2008..Cause as of right now, it's not even the 20th yet! LoL Smile

Please reread my Forum entry-the true date of the midair is stated as occurring on Sunday 20 January 2008. I don't know where you found any February date of this midair? (I did immediately correct the year of the accident to 2008 in my two aircraft Profile page posts).
